Berberine is a major immune-enhancing alkaloid found in many plants, including Hydrastis canadensis (goldenseal), Coptis chinensis (Coptis or golden thread), Berberis aquifolium (Oregon grape), Berberis vulgaris (barberry), and Berberis aristata (tree turmeric).

Berberine is also known to be beneficial for helping to maintain a healthy balance of normal bacteria in the intestines.

Ingredients:

One Capsule Contains: Oregon Grape extract (root) (Berberis aquifolium) 200 mg.

Other Ingredients: Hypromellose (derived from cellulose) capsule. May contain one or more of the following hypoallergenic ingredients to fill space - Magnesium Citrate, Leucine, Silicon Dioxide.

Suggested Use: One capsule two to three times daily, or as otherwise directed by a health-care practitioner.

ALLERGY WARNINGS: This product is contraindicated in an individual with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.

EXCIPIENT FREE: This product does not contain wheat, gluten, corn, yeast, soy, egg, dairy products, or artificial colors, sweeteners, or flavors. This product also does not contain lactose, palmitic acid, or magnesium, calcium, or vegetable stearates.

PREGNANCY WARNING: If pregnant or trying to conceive, do not use Berbercap, as berberine is specifically contraindicated during pregnancy.
